What is a SCM to SCY Conversion?

SCM to SCY is the reverse of the standard SCY to SCM conversion. Both pools are short course, so the number of turns is the same — the calculator just scales the distance down, since a 25-yard lane is shorter than a 25-meter lane.

Distances are paired to their usual equivalents: 400 Free converts to 500 Free, 800 Free to 1000 Free, and 1500 Free to 1650 Free. Near-identical events scale by the 1.11 factor inverted.
